MI & Associates was appointed Project Manager to a private equity ( PE ) company that was seeking to invest significant sums into a French West African mobile telecoms company.

The company is the leader in the relevant country. MI & Associates coordinated all advisers involved in delivering services to the PE fund. This included the Paris arm of a global USA law firm, UK and local country accounting and tax experts, local country regulators. MI & Associates also offered key guidance to the PE fund on how to mitigate and manage risk, including reputational risk, that became apparent as negotiations with the majority shareholder of the mobile phone company progressed.
